B2B SaaS

Project management platform

The problem. Strong product, 180 blog posts, almost no rankings. The blog used infinite scroll pagination, so roughly 60% of posts had never been crawled.

What we did. Fixed pagination and internal linking first, then ran 68 guest posts across product, productivity and remote-work publishers with a branded-heavy anchor mix.

The outcome. Non-brand organic clicks went from 4,100 to 38,000 a month. Twelve commercial keywords moved into the top three, and organic overtook paid as the primary pipeline source in month nine.

Fintech

Invoicing platform for freelancers

The problem. Competing against three funded rivals with far bigger link profiles. Content was good; authority was the gap.

What we did. Commissioned an original survey on freelancer late payments, pitched it to finance and small-business press, then built a 120-page content cluster underneath the coverage.

The outcome. Thirty-four editorial links from publications the client could not have bought, including two national outlets. Top-three keyword count went from nine to 141.

E-commerce

Outdoor gear retailer

The problem. Faceted navigation had generated over 40,000 near-duplicate URLs. Category pages were buried and rarely crawled.

What we did. Cleaned the index down to 2,300 meaningful URLs, restructured category architecture, then pointed niche edits and guest posts at the surviving category pages rather than the homepage.

The outcome. Organic revenue up 312% year on year. Crawl requests to category pages rose fourfold once the index bloat was removed.

Health & wellness

Supplement brand, YMYL niche

The problem. A YMYL niche with heavy E-E-A-T scrutiny and a previous agency’s PBN links still in the profile.

What we did. Disavowed 190 toxic domains, added author credentials and medical review to every page, then rebuilt with slow, editorial-only placements on health publications.

The outcome. Sessions up 740% from a low base. More importantly, the site held steady through two core updates that hit several competitors.

Local services

Multi-location dental group

The problem. Eleven locations sharing one thin page. No local landing pages, inconsistent citations, and no local link signals.

What we did. Built individual location pages with unique content and LocalBusiness schema, cleaned up citations, and earned links from local press and community sponsorships.

The outcome. Map pack rankings across the eleven locations went from 14 to 61 top-three positions. Booking form submissions rose 186%.

Marketplace

B2B equipment marketplace

The problem. Rankings dropped 40% after a replatform. Redirect chains, lost internal links and trimmed category copy were the cause.

What we did. Rebuilt the redirect map, restored internal linking depth, recovered the trimmed content, then resumed link building once the technical baseline was stable.

The outcome. Traffic recovered to the pre-migration baseline in eleven weeks and finished the year 94% above it on non-brand terms.

Patterns

What the successful campaigns had in common

Technical debt cleared first

In four of six cases, the first meaningful ranking movement came from fixing crawl and indexation, not from the first links.

Links pointed at money pages

Pointing authority at category and commercial pages, then distributing internally, consistently beat homepage-only link building.

Anchor discipline

Exact-match anchors stayed under 12% of the profile in every campaign. None of these sites took a manual action.
